It is with a very heavy heart and complete sadness that our dear friend Dave Asquith has passed away this morning (4/8/2021).
He was a Space Coast USBC Board Member, Space Coast USBC Director, Bowler, League Secretary and mostly a friend to us all.
He loved bowling and being with the people in the bowling centers. He enjoyed watching the kids at the bowling tournaments.
He was affectionately known as "The Candyman" at the bowling centers for him selling candy for the bowling association, with the proceeds going to youth scholarships and awards programs.
We will miss him so very much and all the wonderful things he did for us and our bowlers.
Condolences and prayers to Linda and the family.
Phone Text Messaging (Textedly)
The Space Coast USBC has set up another form of bowling information to send to the bowlers of the Space Coast.
Using the program Textedly, we will be able to send information to you via your cell phone.
Text SCBOWLERS to (855) 949-1965
Your phone number will be entered into our database. No phone numbers will be displayed or given out. The database only lists the phone number. You can cancel at any time.
If you’re receiving a “Service Access Denied” error and is not allowing your text message to be sent, then your phone number is most likely not able to engage in short code messaging.
This is primarily with T-Mobile Customers and iPhone users.
In order to resolve this, you will need to reach out to your wireless provider so they may enable short code messaging.
We hope you join us on this new form of communication.
